Soccer Recap: DeWitt Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. Johns on Friday, DeWitt came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Haslett Vikings by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. DeWitt were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Haslett apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

DeWitt now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Haslett, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeWitt will head out to take on Mason at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mason's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Haslett, they will face off against Eaton Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
