Colin Thorton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season.

Cardinal Spellman's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Bishop Fenwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Bishop Fenwick came out on top in a nail-biter against Cardinal Spellman in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
