Panorama dropped their record down to 3-10 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Sherman Oaks CES Knights, falling 24-2. The Pythons were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Knights' pitchers proved too tough.

As for Sherman Oaks CES, the win keeps they at an undefeated 16-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 19.6 runs this season.

For Sherman Oaks CES' part, Araceli Altamirano made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Altamirano has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Sherman Oaks CES got a massive performance out of Reagan Rosenthal, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases Rosenthal has posted since back in April. Kaylee Teddy was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.

Looking ahead, Panorama will take on Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pythons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vipers have averaged an impressive 11.7 runs per game this season. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Grant at 2:30 p.m. The timing is sure in the Knights' favor as the team sits on ten straight wins at home while the Lancers have been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.
