Softball Recap: Adams Highlanders vs. Lutheran North Mustangs
Adams was the 13-3 winner over Lutheran North when they last played one another back in May of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Adams Highlanders lost 11-2 to the Lutheran North Mustangs on Thursday. Adams has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
For Lutheran North's part, Natalie Gerbino was incredible, going 2-for-5 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Priscilla Guthrie, who scored two runs while going 1-for-5.
Adams' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Lutheran North, their win bumped their record up to 12-20.
As of now, neither Adams nor Lutheran North have any future games scheduled.
