Basketball Recap: Hayden Comes Up Short

Hayden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Homewood Patriots 71-12. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Hayden's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Homewood, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hayden and Fairview will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Homewood, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Altamont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
