Football Recap: Crestview Starts off Right with Win over Parkway

Crestview had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Parkway Panthers with a sharp 62-41 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Braxton Leeth was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 419 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per carry. Those 419 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hayden Perrott, who picked up 94 receiving yards and one TD.

Looking ahead, Crestview will challenge Marion Local at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parkway, they will take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
