Baseball Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short

Auburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Mt. Rainier Rams. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly three runs.

Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Mt. Rainier, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

While Auburn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
