Bellarmine Prep waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-57 victory over the Rainier Beach Vikings. The win was all the more spectacular given the Lions' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Vikings are ranked first).

Bellarmine Prep's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Rainier Beach, their loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 27-3.

As of now, neither Bellarmine Prep nor Rainier Beach have any future games scheduled.
