Baseball Recap: Cuero Comes Up Short

Cuero and Floresville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Cuero had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers/Jaguars by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Gobblers have suffered since March 7th.

Cuero has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-13 record this season. As for Floresville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-10.

As of now, neither Cuero nor the Tigers/Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
