Volleyball Recap: Auburn Mountainview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Auburn Mountainview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the White River Hornets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Auburn Mountainview was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into White River's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-7, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Cheyanne Saetern, who had ten digs. Those ten digs gave her a new career-high. Ema Froemke also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Auburn Mountainview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for White River, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Auburn Mountainview and White River will both be playing Kent-Meridian the next time they take the court. The Hornets will head out to face the Royals at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lions will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
