Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Heritage Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Trinity Christian. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Trinity Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

Heritage Christian Academy took Trinity Christian into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 20-25, 15-12.

Heritage Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Trinity Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.

Looking ahead, Heritage Christian Academy will challenge Crossroads Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian will be paying especially close attention to Heritage Christian Academy's contest: after Heritage Christian Academy faces off against Crossroads Christian Academy, they'll take on Trinity Christian again at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
