Spanish Fork had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Timpview on Tuesday. The Dons put the hurt on the Thunderbirds with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Dons have beaten the Thunderbirds the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Thunderbirds has come to flipping the script.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-21.

Kamohoalii Chan paced Spanish Fork's offense, picking up 11 kills. Chan got some help from Mason Swenson and his 20 assists. Chan was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Spanish Fork's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Timpview, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
