Elgin got themselves on the board against Weatherford on Thursday, but Weatherford never followed suit. They really took it to the Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 35-0 win. Those 35 points were actually the fewest the Owls have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Elgin's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Weatherford, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.
