Baseball Recap: Milby Takes a Loss

Milby lost against Goose Creek Memorial back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Milby Buffs fell 5-1 to the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots. The contest marked the Buffs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Michael Hernandez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-2.

Milby now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Goose Creek Memorial, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Looking ahead, Milby will take on Iowa Colony in a tournament on Friday. As for Goose Creek Memorial, they will head out to challenge South Houston at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
