Soccer Recap: White Oak Comes Up Short

White Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Croatan Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Croatan this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

White Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-6. As for Croatan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-6.

White Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Croatan, they will be playing at home against Northside - Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
