Volleyball Game Preview: Boone Grove Wolves vs. Lake Central Indians

After both having extra time off, the Boone Grove Wolves and the Lake Central Indians will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Boone Grove will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.

Boone Grove is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Andrean.

Boone Grove can attribute much of their success to Ryder McCoy, who had 23 digs and two aces, and Max Pollnow, who had 21 assists and eight digs. That's the most aces McCoy has posted over his last six matchups.

Meanwhile, Lake Central posted their closest win since April 12th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Illiana Christian 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

Boone Grove's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Lake Central, their victory bumped their record up to 27-6.

Boone Grove beat Lake Central 3-1 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
