Preview: Gorham vs. Kennebunk
Gorham may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will challenge Kennebunk on the road at 1:30 PM on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
Gorham simply couldn't be stopped last Friday, as they easily beat Messalonskee 67-8. The success made it back-to-back wins for Gorham.
Meanwhile, Kennebunk put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Biddeford as the team secured a 48-13 win. That looming 35-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Kennebunk yet.
Gorham have to be hurting after a devastating 8-35 loss at the hands of Kennebunk the last time the two teams met. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
