Softball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Hanover Park Hornets, falling 17-4. On the bright side, the four- run effort marked the Dodgers' highest-scoring match to date.

Evi Juliano was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and two RBI.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hanover Park, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Madison will square off against Morris Knolls at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hanover Park, they will welcome Pequannock at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
