The Linsly School entered their tilt with Summers County on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Bobcats 13-3.

The Linsly School's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Summers County, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14-1.

Coming up, The Linsly School will venture away from home to take on Morgantown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Summers County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 19-11 win against Bluefield on the 21st.
