Baseball Game Preview: John Glenn Little Muskies vs. Philo Electrics

For the second straight game, John Glenn will face off against Philo. The Little Muskies will square off against the Electrics at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

John Glenn is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Philo 12-4 on Monday.

Wylee Woodard was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of John Glenn's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-9 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Kris Wise, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: John Glenn lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.

John Glenn's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Philo, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-9 record.
