Heritage's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Canyon Springs Cougars. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won three in a row.

Heritage had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-13, 27-25, 25-18.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Canyon Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Rancho Verde on the 26th. As for Canyon Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley View at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
