Volleyball Recap: Parkland Gets the Win

Parkland was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Immanuel Christian Warriors 2-1. For the Matadors, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

The win got Parkland back to even at 1-1. As for Immanuel Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Parkland and Immanuel Christian will both be playing Ysleta the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Indians at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Matadors will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
