Volleyball Game Preview: Benton Rangers vs. Nashville Hornets + How To Watch

Benton hasn't had much luck against Nashville recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rangers will head out on the road to take on the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Benton was able to grind out a solid victory over Anna-Jonesboro, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rangers.

Benton never let Anna-Jonesboro on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Nashville earned a 2-0 win over Okawville on Wednesday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22.

Nashville's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Benton, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

Benton was able to grind out a solid win over Nashville in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
