After flying high against Grant on Friday, Westminster Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Westminster Christian Academy Chargers fell just short of the Ruston Bearcats by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Westminster Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3-1 record this season. As for Ruston, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westminster Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Port Allen at 1:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Ruston will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Ouachita Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
