Volleyball Recap: Claire Shupe's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Davis over West Field

Davis came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the West Field Longhorns, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-11.

Davis lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Claire Shupe, who had 11 assists and six digs.

Davis dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Davis will take on Viewmont at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Field, they will challenge Weber at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
