Brody Weitz posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

Weitz's strong effort led Lakeland over Lake City and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
