Volleyball Recap: North Stokes Takes a Loss

North Stokes lost against Bassett last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings came up short against the Bengals, falling 3-0.

While North Stokes was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bassett's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-20.

North Stokes' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Bassett, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, North Stokes will square off against South Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bassett, they will take on Martinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bengals are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
