Softball Recap: Pulaski Red Raiders vs. Baraboo Thunderbirds
Pulaski proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 19) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Baraboo Thunderbirds 6-4.

Addison Luebke was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ella Maroszek, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Paige Abendroth, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Pulaski now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Baraboo, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pulaski will challenge Manitowoc Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baraboo, they will square off against McFarland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
