Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boron). Everything went their way against the Frazier Mountain Falcons on Tuesday as they made off with a 27-17 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Bella Job was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off two hits. Job was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.

In other batting news, Aubree Lyon was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with six RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Melissa Gonzalez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Boron kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.2.

Boron's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-8. As for Frazier Mountain, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
