Montverde Academy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 17-13 victory over the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Danati Fronduto made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Jovansky Velez was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Michael Alicea, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double.
