Volleyball Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Ridgeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Bakersfield Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-8.

Ridgeview's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Bakersfield Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ridgeview is set to square off against their familiar foe Independence at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bakersfield Christian will take on rival Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
