Football Recap: Lancaster Takes a Loss

Lancaster and Middlesex pushed the score to 36-30 the last time they played Middlesex, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Red Devils fell 16-6 to the Chargers. The Red Devils' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Middlesex, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Lancaster will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Middlesex, they will challenge Rappahannock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Chargers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
