Softball Recap: Carlisle's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Carlisle's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lower Dauphin Falcons on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on April 8th.

Carlisle's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3-1. As for Lower Dauphin, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlisle will welcome Hershey at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lower Dauphin, they will be playing at home against Central Dauphin East at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
