Soccer Recap: Ridge View Takes a Loss

Ridge View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Spring Valley Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Spring Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in March.

Ridge View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Spring Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Ridge View will face off against rival Lugoff-Elgin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Spring Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
