Soccer Recap: Ephrata Takes a Loss

Ephrata lost against Conestoga Valley two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mountaineers lost 4-0 to the Buckskins. While losing is never fun, Ephrata can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while Conestoga Valley are ranked 74th).

Ephrata's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Conestoga Valley, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Ephrata has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Garden Spot on the 3rd. As for Conestoga Valley, they will take on Lancaster Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
