Volleyball Recap: Irvine Comes Up Short

Irvine lost against Northwood back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vaqueros fell 3-1 to the Timberwolves. The Vaqueros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Irvine was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Northwood work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 26-24, 23-25, 25-16.

Irvine's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Northwood, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Irvine will be taking part in a tournament against Brea Olinda at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northwood, they will be playing at home against St. Margaret's at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
