Lone Peak extends road winning streak to ten

Recap: Lone Peak Knights vs. Lehi Pioneers

The Lone Peak Knights can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 64-29 win over Lehi. The win was familiar territory for Lone Peak who now have four in a row.

Lone Peak got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Shawnee Nordstrom out in front who scored 15 points along with four steals. Nordstrom has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Naia Tanuvasa was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.

Lehi's loss came despite strong showings from Hadlie Warren and Kinly Faux. Warren scored nine points, while Faux scored eight points.

Lone Peak's victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.7 points. As for Lehi, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Lone Peak will head out on the road to take on Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Westlake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Friday. As for Lehi, they will be playing at home against Pleasant Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Grove is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
