Basketball Game Preview: Warhill Lions vs. Lafayette Rams + How To Watch

Warhill hasn't had much luck against Lafayette recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lions will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Warhill is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Grafton. The Lions came out on top against the Clippers by a score of 71-60 on Tuesday.

Warhill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Shamar McCray led the charge by shooting 83% from the field en route to 15 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Archibald, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 19 points along with five boards and four steals.

Warhill was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grafton only racked up eight.

Meanwhile, Lafayette took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They snuck past Smithfield with a 70-65 win.

Warhill lost to Lafayette at home by a decisive 58-44 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
