Basketball Recap: St. Paul Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Paul Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 69-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodland Regional Hawks. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

St. Paul Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Woodland Regional, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the St. Paul Catholic Falcons face off against the Wolcott Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodland Regional, they will be playing at home against Ansonia at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
