 With a playoff game on the line, the Austintown-Fitch Falcons rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They snuck past the Warriors with a  74-69 victory. Austintown-Fitch's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Austintown-Fitch was led to victory by  Deshawn Vaughn and  Marcel Finkley.  Vaughn  scored 24 points along with six  assists, while  Finkley  scored 30 points along with five  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Finkley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Carter Owens, who  scored 11 points.
 Austintown-Fitch's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Walsh Jesuit, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.
 Austintown-Fitch will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Elyria at 7:00  p.m. Elyria will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something Austintown-Fitch surely won't give up without a fight. Walsh Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
