Basketball Recap: Beardstown Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Beardstown can now relate to. They were beaten by the Riverton Hawks 71-21 on Monday. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-13.

Beardstown dropped their record down to 8-23 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Riverton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-9.

As of now, neither Beardstown nor Riverton have any future games scheduled.
