Basketball Recap: Maddie White's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fort Wayne South Side over New Haven

Fort Wayne South Side was the 50-37 winner over New Haven when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Fort Wayne South Side Archers took a 44-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Haven Bulldogs on Wednesday. The Archers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Fort Wayne South Side's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddie White, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was BriTanya Diedrich-Williams, who posted seven points.
