Volleyball Recap: Saugus' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Saugus waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Castaic Coyotes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Centurions also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Saugus had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-8.

Saugus now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Castaic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Saugus is set to face off against their familiar foe Canyon at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Castaic will square off against rival West Ranch at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
