Softball Recap: Garinger Takes a Loss

Garinger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-0 to the Charlotte Catholic Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Tuesday.

Garinger's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Charlotte Catholic, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garinger will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Providence at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Charlotte Catholic, they will challenge Covenant Day at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
