Volleyball Recap: Quentin Road Christian Comes Up Short

Quentin Road Christian lost against Arthur-Okaw Christian back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Quentin Road Christian fell 2-0 to Arthur-Okaw Christian.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12.

Arthur-Okaw Christian was led to victory by Brileigh Mast and Avery Herschberger. Mast had eight kills, three aces, and one block, while Herschberger had 17 assists and five digs. With that strong performance, Herschberger is now averaging an impressive 12 assists per game. Another player making a difference was Aselynn Kauffman, who had two aces.

Quentin Road Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5-1 record this season.

Quentin Road Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Oakhill Christian on the 11th.
