Baseball Recap: Adams Comes Up Short

The Highlanders fell 8-3 to the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets on Thursday. The Highlanders haven't had much luck with the Eaglets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Adams' loss dropped their record down to 19-4. As for St. Mary's Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Adams has already played their next contest, a 9-2 victory against Bay City Western on the 10th. As for St. Mary's Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-2 defeat against St. John's Jesuit on the 10th.
