Soccer Recap: Windsor's Run of Five Straight Wins Now Over

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Windsor was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Northampton Yellowjackets. While losing is never fun, Windsor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Northampton are ranked 51st).

Windsor moved to 7-6 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Northampton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season.
