Decatur has gone 9-1 against Bridgeport recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Decatur will head out to face off against Bridgeport at 6:00 p.m. Decatur is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Decatur's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Lake Worth as Decatur made off with a 19-0 win. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Alivia Creasser was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Decatur got a massive performance out of Madi Moreland, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. What's more, Moreland posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Hallie Washburn, who scored three runs while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Bridgeport came up short against Castleberry on Friday and fell 7-4. The Bulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Storm Marquesen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-4. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Decatur's record is now 10-5. As for Bridgeport, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Decatur took their win against Bridgeport when the teams last played on March 3rd by a conclusive 16-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Decatur since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
