Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Christian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for First Baptist Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Homefires Flames on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Flames recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

First Baptist Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18.

Reese Snyder paced First Baptist Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Snyder got some help from Alexa Farr and her six assists. Finally, Emma Ciancio kept First Baptist Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

First Baptist Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Homefires, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, First Baptist Christian and Logos Christian Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Homefires does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
