Madison hadn't done well against Burlingame recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bulldogs skirted past the Bearcats 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since September 13th.

Madison had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-19, 25-17.

Madison's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Burlingame, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19.

Madison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Marais des Cygnes Valley on the 7th. Burlingame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
